What a typical day looks like:? Responsible for Product Quality by design? Interfaces directly with the customer’s Marketing, Product Research, Design, Quality, Engineering? Aligns, reviews and documents customer input requirements? Provides technical know-how and design experience to co-innovate with customer team? Translates input requirements into high level architecture, evaluates and makes technology choices, leads architecting and conceptual design. ? Generates and evaluates concept options? Understands DFX and builds various DFX considerations into the System Architecture? Coordinate with other Flex design team to drive the project delivered on time? Uses Value Analysis to drive cost out of design? Creates the system architecture and a quality documentation ecosystem, such as Six Sigma tools (DFSS). ? Works as Design Quality to ensure System Requirements with a Verification and Validation Plan.? Complete other tasks assigned by design manager or engineering directorThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:? Minimum 8 years of broad working experience, in design, engineering and manufacturing of high-quality industrial embedded system, eg. X86 or ARM platform? Applied knowledge of appropriate industrial product regulations, requirements, and standards, eg EMC, ESD, Wireless protocol? Knowledgeable in multiple disciplines, ME (heating, cooling, motors, UI etc), EE, FW, Layout? Deep knowledge in industrial engineering materials and manufacturing technologies? Six Sigma black belt level of quality engineering is bonus? Ability to drive development from concept, design, to prototype, EVT, DVT and PVT within expected lead time, budget? Ability to extend product lifecycle by driving VAVE activity? Data- and process driven. Experienced in using DFSS quality tools and methodologies such as Design-FMEA, MTBF, MTTFd.? Strong in abstract and conceptual thinking, architecting, linking theory with practice.? Very strong in written documentation, precise language, presentation skills? Very strong communication in English? Able to communicate globally, across functions and levels. Interested in driving process improvement, documentation standards, methods?
